Morris Injury Law served as title sponsor of the Eighth Annual ¡Ándale! 5K with a $25,000 sponsorship supporting scholarships for aspiring law students.
LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Runners and walkers gathered at Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex on Saturday morning, September 26, 2026, for the Eighth Annual ¡Ándale! 5K. For the second year in a row, Morris Injury Law served as the event’s title sponsor, contributing $25,000 to the ¡Ándale! Foundation. The race raises money for scholarships that cover LSAT preparation courses and related testing fees for students working toward law school.
The ¡Ándale! Foundation grew out of the Nevada Latino Bar Association. Through conversations with education professionals, the group learned that the cost of an LSAT prep course was a major barrier for many Latino students who wanted to study law. Prep courses can raise LSAT scores, and those scores weigh heavily in law school admissions. The ¡Ándale! Scholarship was created to cover that cost.
The Foundation reports that the ¡Ándale! 5K has raised over $600,000 and awarded nearly 250 scholarships since the first race.
Scott D. Morris, founder of Morris Injury Law, has said that scholarships and support helped him become a lawyer. The race’s focus on health gives the firm a second reason to be involved. In a video interview before the race, Morris explained why fitness matters to him and his team.
“Before I became an attorney, I was working and going to school at the same time, and that builds up a lot of stress. The gym is what kept me energized and moving forward under that pressure. I believe that if we’re not taking care of ourselves physically and mentally, we can’t show up for our clients. The ¡Ándale! 5K aligns with my values: my team being happy and healthy, and keeping a clear mind when you’re facing deadlines and building a business.”
Money raised at this year’s race will help the next group of ¡Ándale! Scholarship recipients cover LSAT prep courses and testing fees.
