PENNSVILLE, NJ, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Northeast announced a $5,000 donation to WILD Jaeger Veteran Adventures (WJVA), made in support of the organization’s 4th Annual Sporting Clays Fundraiser held Wednesday, October 14, in Pennsville, New Jersey. Teams from FSG‘s New Jersey operations have donated to and competed in the event every year since its inception four years ago, and this year’s gift marks the company’s largest contribution to date.
WILD Jaeger Veteran Adventures is an organization of veterans dedicated to serving fellow veterans, these veterans volunteer their time allowing 100% of the proceeds of these events go right to the veterans they help support. The organization believes that bringing veterans together through hunting, shooting and other outdoor pursuits can help heal wounds both visible and invisible. Alongside its adventure programs, WJVA helps veterans navigate VA, state and nonprofit resources, including transition assistance, education benefits, disability claims, survivors benefits, suicide prevention and veteran entrepreneur mentorship.
FSG’s connection to WJVA runs deep. Kevin Grella, Director of Construction at FSG Northeast’s headquarters and a Navy veteran, has been close friends with WJVA co-founder John MacCallum for more than 30 years. That friendship brought the first FSG team to the range four years ago, and the company has returned every year since.
“As a veteran, I know how much it means to have people around you who understand what you’ve been through,” said Grella. “John has spent years building exactly that kind of community for veterans, and I’m proud that FSG has stood behind WILD Jaeger from day one. Being able to give $5,000 this year is something our whole team is proud of.”
“I couldn’t be prouder of our Northeast teams,” said Leon Mowadia, Chief Operating Officer of FSG. “Their support of WILD Jaeger, year after year, is exactly what our culture is about: to willingly contribute to the quality of life of all employees, customers, vendors, and the general community. Standing behind the veterans who served our country is one of the most meaningful ways we can live that out.”
“At FSG, we believe that when our teams succeed, they should share in that success, and that includes the freedom to give back in ways that matter to them,” said Stephen Malave, Vice President at FSG. “Our Northeast teams have earned that through their hard work, and they chose to put it toward an organization that serves veterans and strengthens the community at large. That’s exactly the kind of initiative we want to encourage.”
“FSG has been with us since our very first shoot,” said MacCallum. “Their teams show up, compete and give generously year after year. This donation will help us reach more veterans and connect them with the outdoors and with each other.”
Proceeds from the fundraiser support WJVA’s veteran adventures and outreach programs.
Drake Erdman (Active-Duty Air Force) absolutely crushed it with a score of 90, and yes, that was with zero Mulligans used!
The event had over 50 active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders in attendance shooting, volunteering, and connecting. Some of them were sponsored by the generous donations brought in, giving them a mini adventure filled with warm food, cold drinks, great shooting and even better camaraderie.
