Mary Technology brings a factual foundation for litigation into Harvey

The Mary connector helps litigation teams investigate complex factual questions in Harvey, drawing on the matter’s documents and the team’s earlier findings.

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mary Technology, the AI software for investigating the facts of a legal matter, today announced an integration with Harvey, bringing its specialist factual investigation capabilities into Harvey’s legal AI platform. Mary reads and maps a matter’s uploaded documents before the first question, and retains the team’s findings and review as the case develops. The connector brings that accumulated understanding into Harvey, so lawyers can investigate an issue using both the evidence and the work their team has already done.

Litigation teams can assess the evidence for and against individual allegations, test witness accounts against contemporaneous documents and examine payments and transfers across financial records. Mary keeps relevant contradictions, gaps and corroborating evidence in view, and explains why particular documents were used or excluded in producing work product.

“The value of AI in litigation depends on the quality of the factual record it works from,” said Daniel Lord-Doyle, co-founder of Mary Technology. “Mary has one focus: turning a matter’s evidence into a factual foundation that lawyers and their AI tools can build on. Our ambition is for AI tools to draw on and contribute to that same foundation, with lawyers reviewing how it develops.”

In Mary, lawyers can review and confirm facts, see colleagues’ confirmations and follow the audit history. Findings, conflicting accounts, qualifications and lawyer review remain available in Mary, so subsequent work can build on what the team has already examined.

When new documents are relevant to existing work, Mary suggests updates to supported work product. Once the user accepts and Mary processes the changes, the updated work is automatically available through the connector when the team next works in Harvey.

“Litigation teams want to use the specialist tools they trust without leaving the platform where they do their work,” said Nate Schlein, Head of Product Business Development at Harvey. “Bringing Mary into Harvey means lawyers can draw on what their team has already built about a matter’s facts, right where they’re drafting, researching and building their case.”
