Saint Sophia’s Mission Launches Free National Job Board With About 1,200 Listings and AI Job Coach

Free for job seekers and employers: national and remote jobs for people with disabilities, veterans and people with records, plus a free AI Job Coach.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Saint Sophia’s Mission, an Orthodox Christian mission and 501(c)(3) nonprofit, today launched the Saint Sophia’s Mission Job Board, a free national job board at https://sophiasmissionus.org/jobs/. The board is free for job seekers and free for employers, and it includes remote jobs.

The board opens with about 1,200 live listings: 1,181 published and 95 more scheduled.

It was built with people who often face extra barriers to work in mind, including people with disabilities, autistic adults, veterans and people with records. Nationally, the unemployment rate for people with a disability was 8.3% in 2025, about double the 4.1% rate for people without a disability, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (https://www.bls.gov/news.release/disabl.nr0.htm).

Anyone can browse and search listings without an account. A free account is needed only to open a job’s application link, and signing up includes opting in to occasional emails from Sophia’s Mission.

Board features include:

– Free for job seekers and employers, with no account needed to browse or search
– Jobs for people with disabilities, autism-friendly roles, veterans jobs and second chance jobs for people with records
– Civil service, public service and transit jobs, including federal (USAJOBS), New York, New Jersey and New York City listings, plus VA and armed forces jobs
– Media, radio and TV, sales, waste management and recycling, fishing and agriculture, and nonprofit jobs, plus AmeriCorps and volunteer roles (volunteer roles are labeled unpaid)
– Listings from major employers such as Walmart, Amazon and Costco, with manufacturing jobs coming soon
– The approximate distance and a rough commute cost from a member’s ZIP code on each job page

The board also points job seekers to a free AI Job Coach, Powered by Grok. Job seekers download the free Grok app and use Sophia’s Mission’s copy-and-paste prompts for help with resumes, interviews and other career questions. The AI Job Coach is a computer program, not a person.

Sophia’s Mission also offers free Grok-powered learning, free resume help and a second chance jobs page for people coming home from prison or jail or living with a record.

Employers can post jobs at little or no cost. Posting is free, and Sophia’s Mission asks employers for an optional suggested donation through Give Lively. Those gifts help keep the board free and support the mission’s work helping unemployed people, veterans and people with disabilities find jobs. A gift is never required and never affects a listing. Every new posting is reviewed before it goes live to screen out scams and listings that break the law, and each job page has a link to report a problem.
