Advantage Healthcare Services (Advantage), a behavioral health-focused pharmacy organization, today launched ACE (Advantage Clinical Education™), a new provider education initiative addressing real-world challenges in behavioral health treatment adherence and continuity of care.

ACE is designed for psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health clinics, community mental health centers, and multidisciplinary care teams. The platform launches with its first program, Closing the Adherence Gap: LAI Strategies Across the Treatment Journey, which examines how long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIs) and other treatment approaches can help prevent interruptions, reduce relapse risk, and support long-term outcomes for people living with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. The program equips providers to:

– Recognize the clinical and behavioral factors that raise a patient’s risk of relapse or falling out of treatment.
– Compare oral and long-acting injectable options to match treatment approach to individual patient needs and risk.
– Resolve access, insurance, and coordination barriers before they interrupt treatment.
– Apply care-transition and missed-dose protocols from Advantage’s Companion Resources to help prevent relapse before it happens.

“ACE grew from our partnerships with providers and a shared focus on helping patients stay connected to care,” said Michael Zeglinski, CEO of Advantage Healthcare Services. “By working alongside care teams, we see firsthand the challenges that can impact treatment engagement and long-term outcomes. ACE was created to give providers practical education and resources to help patients throughout their treatment journey.”

ACE also includes a library of Companion Resources, treatment comparison charts, missed-dose management guides, patient journey playbooks, and care coordination tools, to help providers put the education into practice. Advantage will expand ACE in 2027 with programs on tardive dyskinesia, substance use disorder, and other behavioral health topics.
